Michael Archdeacon, MD. UC Health (Cincinnati). Dr. Archdeacon’s practice specializes in fracture care, and he has performed more than 1,600 pelvic and acetabular fracture surgeries. He was recently named the next CEO of UC Health’s physician group.

Greg Berlet, MD. Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center (Columbus, Ohio). Dr. Berlet is a foot and ankle surgeon, and he’s a founding partner of Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center. He was recently named CMO of device company MedShape.

Chelsea Boe, MD. The Doctor’s Clinic (Silverdale, Wash.). Dr. Boe joined The Doctor’s Clinic in 2020 and specializes in hand surgery. She received her medical degree from The University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles and completed her residency at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic.

Susan Bukata, MD. University of California San Diego Health. Dr. Bukata, who was recently named chair of the department of orthopedics, is the fourth woman in the U.S. to hold that position at a health system. She was previously elected to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Leadership Fellows Program in 2012 and received an American Orthopaedic Association Traveling Fellowship in 2018.

Bart Eastwood, DO. OrthoVirginia (Blacksburg). Dr. Eastwood’s specialities include sports medicine, joint replacement and ACL repair. He also works as an associate professor at Blacksburg-based Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Leesa Galatz, MD. Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (New York City). Dr. Galatz specializes in shoulder and elbow surgery. The Orthopaedic Research Society awarded her with the 2021 Women’s Leadership Forum Award.

Stephen Johnson, DO. Athens (Ga.) Orthopedic Clinic. Dr. Johnson specializes in arthroscopic and reconstructive shoulder surgery. He’s also a team physician for the University of Georgia in Athens and several local high schools.

Alexandre Kindy, MD. Trinity Health (Minot, N.D.). Dr. Kindy received his medical degree from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. He completed his residency at the University of Calgary in Canada where he was chief resident.

Timothy Straub, MD. Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine (Eugene, Ore.). Dr. Straub’s specialties include sports medicine, knee and shoulder replacement and minimally invasive surgery. He received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland and completed his residency at Minneapolis-based University of Minnesota Affiliated Hospitals.

Michael Sutton, DO. McLeod Orthopaedics Dillon (S.C.). Dr. Sutton received his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at Mount Clemens (Mich.) General Hospital.
