Thomas N. Joseph, MD, developed single-payment, direct access orthopedic and rehabilitation services now available in north Metro Atlanta at Freedom Orthopedic and Rehab.

 

Daniel C. Farber, MD, was elected to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Board of Directors.

 

Brian Cohen, MD, of Adena Bone & Joint Center in Chillicothe, Ohio, will simulcast a reverse shoulder arthroplasty procedure live from his surgical suite for colleagues at the upcoming Current Concepts in Joint Replacement meeting in Last Vegas.

 

H. Thomas Temple, MD, was appointed senior vice president of translational research and economic development for Nova Southeastern University. 

 

Orthopedic surgeon Dan Slawski, MD, received the 2015 Freedom Award Humanitarian winner.

 

Robert Stanton, MD, of Fairfield, Conn.-based Orthopaedic Specialty Group will accompany three surgeons as part of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine Traveling Fellowship Program.
