Wisconsin orthopedic group to spend $10M on 3rd location

Pewaukee-based Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin has paid $2.45 million to acquire land in Brookfield for its third location, according to a June 16 Milwaukee Business Journal report.

Four things to know:

1. The 33,482-square-foot facility will feature physician offices, a pain clinic, physical therapy and MRI services.

2. The project is estimated to cost $10 million, CEO Mark Smith told MBJ.

3. New staff will be hired for the center.

4. Construction will begin in the next 30 days and be completed within one year.
