•    Professional liability coverage — 74 percent
•    Book allowance — 64 percent
•    Meal allowance — 61 percent
•    Other — 8 percent
•    Child care — 2 percent
•    None of the above — 1 percent

 

More than 1,200 residents across 25 specialties took part in the online survey between June 20 and July 7. All participants were enrolled in a U.S. medical resident program.
