Western Missouri Medical Center undergoing $1.5M renovation — 4 details

Warrensburg-based Western Missouri Medical Center announced renovations on its second floor began earlier this week, according to The Daily Star Journal.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. Work on the $1.5 million renovation began on Monday, Apr. 3 following hospital board approval on March 30.

 

2. Warrensburg-based Western Missouri Bone and Joint Clinic, which outgrew a 5,200-square-foot building, will move in to the renovated space.

 

3. The 8,700-square-foot space will include 12 exam rooms, two X-ray rooms, three cast rooms and a waiting room.

 

4. Hospital staff, management and physicians have been involved in designing the project, which is being paid from the hospital’s capital budget.
