West Boca Medical Center opens orthopedic, spine center

Boca Raton, Fla.-based West Boca Medical Center is set to open the Boca Center for Orthopedic and Spine Care in Parkland, Fla., according to a May 16 report from Tap Into Parkland.

The center will enable patients to easily transition from surgery to recovery to rehabilitation in a dedicated unit and will offer robotic technology for procedures. 

The facility will include eight patient rooms, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient physical therapy and more. 

The facility will also offer Stryker’s Mako robot and CORI surgical system’s robot for total joint replacements. West Boca Medical Center is the first hospital in Boca Raton to offer the CORI surgical system, according to the report.
