Virginia clinic to expands spine, neurosurgery care

Winchester, Va.-based Valley Health is opening a 40,000-square-foot facility in Spring Mills, Va., April 6, reports The Journal.

Three things to know:

1. The center aims to improve access to minimally invasive spine, orthopedic and neurosurgery physicians that provide care at the nearby Winchester (Va.) Medical Center.

2. Specialists, primary care and urgent care physicians will see patients at the ambulatory center.

3. Valley Health facilities feature a total of 604 inpatient beds with more than 500 medical staff, according to its website.
