The 84,000-square-foot Victory Medical Center San Antonio will include 25 patient suites; six surgical suites; three special procedure rooms; 10,000 square feet of clinic space; and an adjoining 84,000-square-foot, high-end medical space. The new hospital will primarily focus on orthopedic surgery. The facility will also specialize in neurosurgery and spine surgery and will offer bariatric and pain management surgery.
One existing Victory Medical Center location in San Antonio will be consolidated into the new site when it is completed, which is expected by next spring. The other existing Victory Medical Center site in San Antonio will likely be operated as an ambulatory surgery center to complement the new hospital, according to the report.
