The floor features an orthopedic and joint unit with private suits, handicap-accessible bathrooms, individual temperature controls, light sensors and furnishings for comfort and safety.
The area also has a revamped physical rehabilitation gym with new equipment, including a car-transfer simulator.
The project started in January and cost $4 million.
