Vail-Summit Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery earns AAOE ‘Practice of the Year’ award

Vail-Summit Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery in Vail, Colo., on May 4 was named the 2020 American Alliance of Orthopaedic Executives “Practice of the Year,” Vail Daily reports.

Four things to know:

1. The award recognizes orthopedic practices for innovation, improved quality, and providing exemplary contributions and services to their community.

2. Winners are selected through a peer-review process.

3. Founded in 1979, VSON provides the full spectrum of spine and orthopedic care, with locations in Vail, Edwards and Frisco, Colo.

4. The practice has nine fellowship-trained physicians, five of whom are team physicians for the U.S. Ski Team, according to its website.
