It will house orthopedics, sports medicine, urgent care and diagnostic and imaging technology.

The new facility will be located next to the existing UT Health East Texas Physicians clinic, which houses family and internal medicine, facial plastics and ear, nose and throat physicians.

The urgent care at the new facility will have an emphasis on orthopedics, treating sprains and strains, broken bones and fractures but will also treat minor illness and injuries.

The new facility is expected to open in 2024.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
