USOP adds 2 Louisiana practices

U.S. Orthopaedic Partners added two practices in Louisiana — Alexandria-based Mid State Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center and Orthopaedic Associates of New Orleans.

This is USOP’s 11th acquisition, and the deal adds eight locations to its network, according to a company news release. Mid State Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center has eight physicians, and Orthopaedic Associates of New Orleans has six.

Louisiana is the management service organization’s third state. USOP also has practices in Alabama and Mississippi.
