Highmark’s orthopedic application is a hybrid of recurring software as a service revenue with additional per-patient use and implementation fees, according to a Feb. 3 Highmark news release. The initial rollout is going to 15 surgeons, and Highmark anticipates a minimum $50,000 in revenue per surgeon.
