UR Medicine opens 2 orthopedic urgent care clinics to ease ER burden

Rochester, N.Y.-based UR Medicine recently formed two rapid response clinics for orthopedic patients in need of care during the coronavirus pandemic, Rochester First.com reports.

Three things to know:

1. The clinics will treat bone, joint and back issues, including sprains, strains and twisted ankles.

2. Patients can receive X-rays and casting in the clinics.

3. UR Medicine has more than 55 orthopedic physicians, according to its website.
