UPMC to open orthopedic center in Pennsylvania

Pittsburgh-based UPMC is opening an orthopedic practice near Newport, Pa., according to a March 16 report from pennlive.com.

The practice is slated to open in the spring and will offer services including spine surgery and joint replacements.

Earlier this month, UPMC announced plans to open an orthopedic practice in Harrisburg, Pa. That center is expected to open April 1.
