University Orthopedics opens new location in Rhode Island: 5 things to know

University Orthopedics held a ribbon cutting for its new location in East Greenwich, R.I.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. University Orthopedics also has locations in Providence, Middletown, East Greenwich and Barrington, all in Rhode Island.

 

2. The new location is 22,000 square feet.

 

3. The center houses five exam pods, an injection suite, four X-ray rooms, two cast rooms and a therapy area.

 

4. Specialists will offer cartilage replacement, foot and ankle, hand and wrist, joint replacement, pediatrics, orthopedic oncology, spine, sports medicine, shoulder and elbow, trauma and fracture services.

 

5. The East Greenwich location also offers hand and physical therapy; X-rays; and spine injections.
