University Orthopedics assumed management duties of the practice months ago, and brought it into the UO family effective Jan. 1, according to a Jan. 3 press release sent to Becker’s.
With the addition of OA’s two locations in the state, UO will have over 65 physicians at 15 locations in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
When the agreement takes effect, both of OA’s practice in Cranston and Cumberland, R.I., will become part of UO.
The OA physicians joining the UO team include Gregory Austin, MD, Kenneth Catallozzi, MD, Nathalia Doobay, DPM, Louis Mariorenzi, MD, Michael Mariorenzi, MD, Michael Mariorenzi, MD, and Braidy Shambaugh, DO.
