The four-story building has more than 158,000 square feet, 24 private rooms, 12 operating rooms, eight exam rooms and two procedure rooms, UAMS said in a news release. The first patients will be welcomed in June.
The Orthopedic & Spine Hospital will complement UAMS’ clinics in the area. UAMS opened its newest orthopedic clinic in April.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony comes just over two years after workers broke ground on the facility in April 2021.
