Tyber Medical to double Florida facility’s operations

Orthopedic device manufacturer Tyber Medical is expanding its Florida facility by 33,000 square feet and doubling its operations.

The expansion will add manufacturing machines, secondary equipment and other technologies, according to an April 28 news release from Tyber Medical.

The project is part of the company’s $13 million capital asset expansion plan set to unfoldover the next two years.

In addition to increased production, the expanded facility is expected to create 50 jobs, the release said.
