Two North Carolina Orthopedic Practices Merge to Form OrthoWilmington

Atlantic Orthopedics and Wilmington Orthopaedic Group, both of Wilmington, N.C., recently merged to form OrthoWilmington, according to a Greater Wilmington Business Journal report.

The new practice includes five locations and supports 20 orthopedic and spine surgeons. The surgeons subspecialize in sports medicine, joint reconstruction, extremities care and trauma care.

The practice also includes occupational therapy at four locations, according to the report. It also supports an urgent care orthopedic clinic, AccessOrtho, which accepts walk-in patients for immediate diagnosis and treatment.
