The new floor will expand physical therapy and occupational therapy areas and add a new car transfer simulator, kitchen and tub model. Construction began Monday and is expected to be completed by late July 2012.
The renovation is the first phase of the hospital’s plan to modernize the hospital with a more effective design and to improve the level of care, according to the release.
