TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center receives Joint Commission certification for THR, TKR

TriStar Hendersonville (Tenn.) Medical Center earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for total hip and total knee replacement certification, according to the Tennessean.

The medical center underwent an onsite review Oct. 19, 2018. Joint Commission experts evaluated compliance with national disease-specific care standards as well as with total hip and total knee replacement surgery-specific requirements, clinical practice guidelines and performance measures.

TriStar Hendersonville offers total joint replacement, bone grafts, foot deformity corrections and other orthopedic surgical services. It employs 10 orthopedic surgeons.
