She succeeds Robert Blair, who held the position for 12 years. Ms. Hicks will join the hospital Aug. 22 and will assume the CEO role Oct. 1.
Ms. Hicks has more than 30 years of senior healthcare leadership experience, according to Healthcare Journal of Baton Rouge. Her previous roles include CFO of St. Francis Medical Center, and CFO and COO at P&S Surgical Hospital, both in Monroe, La.
