The Doctors Company Celebrates Tribute Plan’s Fifth Anniversary

The Doctors Company, an insurer of physician and surgeon medical liability, is celebrating the five-year anniversary of the Tribute Plan, a benefit that financially rewards members when they retire from the practice of medicine.

The Tribute Plan rewards members for their loyalty to The Doctors Company and for their dedication to patient care. So far, more than 1,300 Tribute awards have been distributed, and 22,700 members have qualified for a Tribute award when they retire from the practice of medicine. By the end of 2012, approximately $550 million will have been earmarked for Tribute awards.
