Here are five things to know:
1. The practice was founded in 2005 and has grown from two physicians to more than 170 providers in Arizona and Michigan.
2. The Core Institute’s 10 locations in Arizona comprise physical therapy offices, spine centers and an orthopedic specialty hospital; in Michigan, the group has four clinics and three physical therapy offices.
3. The new Scottsdale location will span 6,500 square feet and serves as the practice’s entrance into the Scottsdale market. Physicians will offer orthopedic care, spine surgery, pain management, interventional spine, adult joint reconstruction, chiropractic care and physical therapy.
4. The Core Institute has already invested $40 million in building its information technology platform and aims to continue investing in Arizona. According to the report, the group has plans to open new facility in Gilbert, Ariz.
5. In addition to providing patient care, the group places an emphasis on research, education and community service.
