The Bone & Joint Center $9.1M joint venture opens

EmUrgentCare in Colonie, N.Y., a $9.1 million joint venture between two Albany, N.Y., medical centers, began accepting patients May 1, timesunion reports.

Here are three things to know.

1. EmUrgentCare is a joint venture between Albany Medical Center and The Bone & Joint Center in Albany.

2. The new 30,000-square-foot facility includes a new urgent care center, internal medicine, pediatrics and sports medicine practices, a full-service lab with phlebotomists and an orthopedist satellite office.

3. EmUrgentCare is Albany Medical’s tenth facility in the region and second in Colonie.
