Tennessee orthopedic practice seeking approval for ASC

Johnson City, Tenn.-based Watauga Orthopaedics is seeking a certificate of need to build an ASC, local news affiliate WJHL.com reports.

What you should know:

1. If approved, the center would open in 2022.

2. The ASC would serve Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

3. Watauga Orthopaedics said the ASC would be the “only one of its kind in the region.”
