The practice was established in 1974 by Doug Henerson, MD, and Tom Haney, MD, and was the premier orthopedic-exclusive practice in north Florida at the time, according to a May 3 news release.

Now the practice has locations and urgent care clinics in Florida and Georgia, and the team includes more than 400 employees.

“It’s been a privilege to serve multiple generations of families across North Florida and South Georgia over the past 50 years,” Michael Boblitz, CEO of TOC, said in the release. “We eagerly anticipate continuing our tradition of excellence for many more decades to come.”

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
