Synergy Orthopedics adds 3 physicians

San Diego-based Synergy Orthopedic Specialists merged with a worker’s compensation practice led by Thomas Harris, MD, and the group added two other physicians.

Dr. Thomas is known for pioneering arthroscopic surgery in San Diego, according to a July 30 news release. Pascual Dutton, MD, and Scot Youngblood, MD, who are borth orthopedic surgeons also joined Synergy.

Dr. Dutton is a sports medicine surgeon. Dr. Youngblood will lead Synergy Orthopedic Specialists’ foot and ankle program. 

“We believe the additions to the team will continue to allow physicians to remain independent as they navigate the changes in healthcare,” Tal David, MD, president of Synergy Orthopedic Specialists, said in the release.
