Summit Spine completed its third private equity recapitalization in the last seven years, according to an April 1 news release.

The interventional spine practice completed its recapitalization with Wellspring Capital Management on March 25. Wellspring Capital will provide additional money and expertise to support Summit’s expansion in the southeast.

Summit’s practice model prioritizes physician empowerment, and its structure combines hospital affiliations and ASC ownership opportunities.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
