Woodbury, Minn.-based Summit Orthopedics is adding its on-call care to three more M Health Fairview hospitals, Twin Cities Business reported Oct. 1.
Starting in 2026, Summit will see patients for urgent and emergency orthopedic care at Fairview hospitals in Burnsville, Edina, and Wyoming, Minn. The expanded partnership brings the total number of Fairview hospitals served by the practice to five.
The expanded relationship is also expected to bring on more physicians to Summit, the report said. The practice plans to hire three to seven new surgeons.
Summit’s services replace Edina, Minn.-based Twin Cities Orthopedics’ at the three new hospitals, the report said.
