Summit Health adds orthopedic care in New York

New Providence, N.J.-based Summit Health has opened a 30,000-square-foot multispecialty care facility in Garden City, N.Y., with a whole floor dedicated to orthopedics.

This is Summit Health’s first major imaging and orthopedic hub on Long Island, N.Y., according to an Aug. 8 news release from the system. 

The site will have 13 primary care and specialty physicians. In addition to orthopedics, it will offer cardiology; dermatology; ear, nose and throat services; facial plastic surgery; internal medicine; laboratory capabilities; sports medicine; pain management; and podiatry.
