Stanford Health Care appoints interim president, CEO: 5 quick facts

Mariann Byerwalter wills serve as Stanford (Calif.) Health Care’s interim president and CEO starting Jan. 2, 2016.

Here are five quick facts:

 

1. Stanford Health Care’s current president and CEO, Amir Dan Rubin, will be leaving for another job at the end of 2015.

 

2. Ms. Byerwalter currently serves as the chairman of the SRI International board of directors. She is also a board member of Stanford Health Care.

 

3. She is also a director on the board of Pacific Life Insurance, Franklin Resources, WageWorks, Redwood Trust, Burlington Capital Group and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford.

 

4. Ms. Byerwalter has served three terms on the Stanford University Board of Trustees.

 

5. She holds an MBA from Harvard University in Boston.
