Stamford Health announces new president and VP — 4 details

Stamford (Conn.) Health announced Rudolph Taddonio, MD, was elected its new president and Carol Fucigna, MD, its vice president, according to the Stamford Daily Voice.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. Drs. Taddonio and Fucigna will both serve two-year terms.

 

2. Dr. Taddonio was appointed division chief of orthopedics in 2007 after joining Stamford Hospital in 1995. In October 2016, he was appointed interim chair of the hospital’s new department of orthopedic surgery.

 

3. Dr. Fucigna has practiced obstetrics and gynecology for over 20 years.

 

4. In their roles, the physicians will work with Stamford Health executives and the board of directors to support quality improvement, improve patient care and represent the medical staff’s needs.
