St. Vincent Medical Center Opens St. Vincent Orthopaedic Institute in Los Angeles

St. Vincent Medical Center in Los Angeles recently opened the St. Vincent Orthopaedic Institute, according to a hospital news release.

The hospital inaugurated its Joint Replacement Institute four years ago and has experienced additional need since then. The St. Vincent Orthopaedic Institute is downstairs from the Joint Replacement Institute with eight new examination rooms, an imaging suite and physician offices.

Five orthopedists have agreed to practice at the new institute and are able to perform fracture casting and pain management procedures. The St. Vincent Medical Center ORs are also equipped for orthopedic surgeons to perform minimally invasive and image guided surgical procedures.
