IMAC Holdings, which owns the Back Space, completed a pilot program for the retail chain with Walmart to provide spine care starting at $25, according to an April 7 news release.
The chain has a further goal of adding more locations over the next three years. New locations are expected to be a combination of corporate and franchise locations.
“During the pilot, we learned that our price point resonates well with consumers and a potential price increase could yield increased revenue without diminishing the consistent desire for care,” Dr. Ben Lerner, COO of IMAC, said in the news release. “Similar models by competitors have proven an increased demand for spinal health that this fragmented industry has yet to meet.”
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
