Southern Spine & Pain Institute owner joins Physician Partners of America: 4 insights

Tampa, Fla.-based Physician Partners of America welcomed Anthony Clavo, MD, to its Arlington, Texas, location.

1. Licensed in pain management and anesthesiology, Dr. Clavo specializes in complex pain and orthopedic cases as well as stem cell and regenerative medicine.

2. After earning his medical degree from Nashville, Tenn.-based Meharry Medical College, Dr. Clavo completed his residency at Dallas-based Methodist Medical Center. He underwent fellowship training at Seattle-based University of Washington.

3. Dr. Clavo founded Peachtree City, Ga.-based Southern Spine and Pain Institute. Previously, he worked at Ortho Spine and Surgery of Atlanta.

4. He is a member of the American Medical Association and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
