Signature Orthopedics adds cervical and lumbar specialist

Qasim Zaidi, MD, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in cervical and lumbar procedures, has joined St. Louis-based Signature Orthopedics, the practice said July 5.

Dr. Zaidi trained at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston in a specialized, high-volume spine surgery fellowship that focused on degenerative conditions, minimally invasive surgery, advanced image-guided navigation and robotic surgery.

Dr. Zaidi has expertise in motion preservation using artificial cervical disc replacement and multimodality pain management and procedures, including lumbar microdiscectomy, laminectomy and anterior cervical discectomy and fusion.
