Shriners Children’s opens pediatric orthopedic outreach clinic in Illinois

Shriners Children’s has partnered with Urbana, Ill.-based Carle Health to open a pediatric orthopedic outreach clinic in Champaign, Ill., according to a May 27 report from WAND News.

Physicians from both Shriners Children’s St. Louis and Chicago will provide care at the clinic, treating orthopedic injuries, burns, spinal cord injuries, sports injuries and broken bones. 

The clinic opened in March and is located at the Carle Outpatient Services campus. The clinic can see 12 to 16 patients a day, according to the report.
