Seton Medical Center Hays expands brain, spine services — 5 things to know

Kyle, Texas-based Seton Medical Center Hays is boosting its brain and spine services, according to Community Impact Newspaper.

Here are five things to know:

1. The medical center is welcoming a third neurosurgeon to its team this summer.

2. With a stronger neurosurgical team, Seton Medical Center Hays is building a foundation for its brain and spine offering.

3. Kate Henderson, regional president of Seton Medical Center Hays and three other hospitals, told Community Impact Newspaper, the additional neurosurgeon will allow the medical center to offer outpatient spine care.

4. The medical is also enhancing its women’s services with a $14.1-million expansion.

5. Seton Medical Center Hays will likely become a Level II trauma center by this fall.
