Sanford Orthopedic Hospital, hotel set opening date

Fargo, N.D.-based Sanford Orthopedic Hospital and its boutique hotel will be open to patients in January 2026, according to a June 16 report from Sioux Falls Business.

The nine-story orthopedic hospital will total 161,000 square feet, and will be attached to Sanford Children’s Hospital. 

It will house 35 pre- and post-operative rooms, 12 operating rooms, physical therapy space and an intraoperative MRI. It will also house 30 orthopedic specialists and 34 advanced practice providers.

The boutique Highpoint Hotel, part of the orthopedic development, will total 56,000 square feet and house 56 guest rooms.
