Sanford Health opens acute spine center in Minnesota

Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health has opened an acute spine center at Sanford Bemidji (Minn.) Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center.

The spine center offers a comprehensive evaluation and medical management for those experiencing back or neck pain, a news release said.

The facility has a team of orthopedic specialists, chiropractors and physical therapists “trained to address spine pain in all phases of recovery using early, non-opioid and conservative treatments” Sanford said in a June 24 news release.

More than 20 providers, including eight physicians, operate at Sanford Bemidji Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center, according to its website.
