Award recipients are measured on the amount of surgical complications and infections, as well as Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey results and research covering women’s healthcare preferences.
Recipients must offer spine surgery, joint replacement and arthroscopies, on-site physical therapy and MRI services to qualify for the award.
Saint Anne Hospital was also named as a Blue Distinction Center+ for knee and hip replacement by Blue Cross Blue Shield. The Joint Commission also gave the hospital an advanced designation for knee and hip replacement.
