Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedics is expanding its team to a total of 214 physicians across three states by the end of 2026.
Between May 2025 and December 2026, Rothman plans to add 41 physicians across specialties including sports medicine, joint replacement, podiatry and physical medicine, according to a March 18 news release shared with Becker’s. The group will add to locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida, with a focused expansion in the Greater Philadelphia and Greater Orlando areas.
“Growth for us is never about numbers alone — it’s about access, excellence, and impact,” Alex Vaccaro, MD, PhD, president of Rothman Orthopaedics, said in the release. “By expanding in high-demand specialties and all of our markets, we are reducing wait times, deepening subspecialty expertise, and ensuring patients receive the highest level of orthopedic care.”
Rothman operates 34 offices across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida.
