Rothman Orthopaedics signs sponsorship deal with New York radio station

Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedic Institute has become the orthopedic partner of WFAN, the official radio station of the New York Yankees, according to an Aug. 19 announcement.

Three things to know:

1. Rothman Orthopaedics is sponsoring WFAN’s in-game injury report during Yankees games.

2. Physicians from the group will be featured during the station’s on-air “doctor reports” to discuss orthopedic injuries to athletes.

3. The deal spans across WFAN’s other broadcast and digital platforms, including Radio.com.
