Christian Ellison is the new CEO of Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedics.
Mr. Ellison will begin his role on Oct. 1, according to a Sept. 29 news release. He has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare leadership and will oversee strategic growth, operational performance and community impact for Rothman.
He was most recently CEO and board member of EVP EyeCare in Denver. Mr. Ellison has also worked at SCA Health, Health Inventures, Johnson & Johnson, Arthur Andersen and Arlington, Va.-based Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic. according to his LinkedIn profile.
“Christian possesses all the qualities we look for in a CEO to lead Rothman Orthopaedics,” Alexander Vaccaro, MD, PhD, president of Rothman, said in the release. “He values collaboration and fosters an environment where physicians and employees can thrive—ultimately driving better outcomes for our patients.
