Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedics will use Surgimate across its Pennsylvania and New Jersey locations, the practice said Sept. 3.

Surgimate is a scheduling tool that also includes features for communication between surgeons, schedulers, billing teams and vendors. It integrates into Rothman’s existing systems, automates tasks and monitors data in real time, CIO Bryant Stetz, said in the release.

“Coordinating surgeries at scale demands consistency and efficiency at every step,” Rothman COO Mayange Kane, said in the release. “Surgimate gives us the structure and tools to reduce manual work, improve accountability and maintain our focus on delivering high-quality care.”

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
