Resurgens Orthopaedics brands private equity-backed platform

Atlanta-based Resurgens Orthopaedics, armed with private equity investment, is calling its new orthopedic platform United Musculoskeletal Partners.

Alex Bateman will lead UMP as CEO, according to a March 22 news release. Clint Adams, who previously worked at Nashville, Tenn.-based Ardent Health Services, will be CFO. James Jackson, who worked at Addison, Texas-based United Surgical Partners International, will be chief development officer.

In December, Resurgens Orthopaedics landed private equity investment from New York City-based Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe. Mr. Bateman told Becker’s he has plans to expand in the Southeast and Western U.S.
