Practice Fusion releases online patient check-in feature

Practice Fusion released Online Patient Check-In, a new service that allows patients to complete check-in forms from their phone, tablet or computer before their appointment.

The technology allows physicians to review their patients’ forms before their visit, and it eliminates the need for office staff to re-type intake forms. The patient’s information can also be automatically incorporated into the patient’s electronic health record within the Practice Fusion EHR. The technology replaces the three to seven pages of paper, on average, used at a physician’s office.
