Polaris Spine & Neurosurgery Center records 15th outpatient robotic spine surgery

Christopher Tomaras, MD, scrubbed in to perform Atlanta-based Polaris Spine & Neurosurgery Center’s 15th outpatient spine surgery, according to a LinkedIn post.

Polaris Spine & Neurosurgery Center installed Globus Medical’s ExcelsiusGPS to conduct the robotic spine surgeries.

After earning his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, Dr. Tomaras completed his residency at the Texas Medical Center in Houston.

A board-certified neurosurgeon, Dr. Tomaras served as the principal investigator for cervical disc replacement research studies.
